As staycation — vacationing at home — continues to grow in popularity, homeowners are busy looking for different ways to make their time at home fulfilling. Notably, some homeowners love to renovate their indoor space, whereas others focus on the outdoors. Therefore, shade sail suppliers should take advantage of the demand to expand their market. However, suppliers must offer something unique to stand out from the competition. You can achieve this by keeping updated on the latest trends in shade sail designs. Here are a few shade sail trends.
Shade Sails with Light Hoops -- There is a common misconception among customers that shade sails can only be used during daytime. However, nothing could be further from the truth because shade sails are equally useful at night, since they offer excellent protection against the elements such as rain. However, shade sails can provide more than protection from the elements. For instance, shade sails equipped with cable hoops are taking the market by storm since they allow users to hang lighting either along or across the edges. The shade sails are particularly useful for spaces that are far away from a power source.
Manual Retractable Shade Sails -- For a long time, customers had to choose between an automated, retractable shade sail or a fixed shade sail. While each shade sail design has its advantages, customers prefer a mix of benefits. In this regard, buyers can consider a manually operated, retractable shade sail. The design allows homeowners to pull out or close a shade sail cover whenever necessary. Moreover, the simple pulley system equipped with a drawstring/cable allows for effortless operation of a shade sail. Consequently, the design is popular among property developers on a budget.
Double-Sided Shade Sails -- Standard shade sails have one side that offers protection against ultra-violet light and penetration of water. However, the properties deteriorate over time and make shade sails to lose their protective abilities. Therefore, homeowners are always on the lookout for shade sails that offer maximum protection on a long-term basis. Notably, suppliers can gain a competitive edge by providing shade sails with a protective layer on both sides. Customers can simply flip the shade sail to extend its service life. Furthermore, some double-sided shade sails have decorative patterns on both sides. Therefore, customers do not have to worry about aesthetics whenever they decide to change the sides of their residential shade sails.Share

When I decided to become a freelance designer, I decided I would work from home. I was sick and tired of being in an office all day and to be honest, some of my workmates were pretty annoying. However, I did not consider that I might have to make some changes to my home in order to make it suitable. On the first day of my new life working from home, I realised I would need much more natural light, so I had new windows installed. I then realised that I would need a larger work table to work on my cut out designs. In the end, I made hundreds of changes and I learnt an awful lot about home improvement.
